Listed here are the special species. Look over these and decide which one you want. You have to pick one of the following for your bio. Once accepted, it costs quite a bit to have it changed. Canons cannot change their element. If your play-by does not meet the description or powers listed below, you better tell why in the others section. If your answer is plausible and/or creative, I'll let you keep it the way it is. Otherwise it has to be changed.

Water

Fire
Anyone born with the element of fire is born with dark skin and dark brown or black hair. Their powers are hardest to master as they have the ability to manipulate the heat waves around them to create illusions. The slightest lapse in concentration can cause the illusion to disappear. People of the fire element can also manipulate magma underground to cause tremors. More matured fire-wielders can create trenches of vast depth in the ground or cause earthquakes. Because their powers are difficult to control, fire-wielders must keep a constant mental and emotional balance. A sudden burst of emotion, especially rage, can accidentally trigger their powers. Fire-wielders can fly using heat particles in the air; this will not work in cold places or places with artificial heat.
Water
Those born with the element of water are fair-skinned or tan with thick dirty-blond or light brown hair. People with the water element can control the weather and the seas. They can cause a snowstorm in the Sahara or create a flood from a creek. Combined manipulation by two water-wielders in the same area (such as one person trying to create a snowstorm and the other trying to create a tornado) can cause catastrophic damage. Sometimes, weather manipulation can be combined if done properly (ex: thunderstorm+snowstorm=hailstorm). The trigger for inexperienced water-wielders is distraction. Daydreaming can cause their powers to activate. Water-wielders can fly using water molecules in the air; this will not work in hot places.
Earth
Someone born with the earth element is born wild-eyed and dark-haired(reddish or brown.) The powers of earth-wielders include talking to animals, turning into animals, and controlling wildlife(animals and plants). The drawback is that they can only transform into animals with a larger body mass. If they try to become an animal smaller than themselves, they become a human-sized version of it. They can also only control wildlife where wildlife is present(they can't control plants inside a plantless area). The problem with the powers in general are that over time, if an earth-wielders transforms into an animal too much, it will become harder to shift out of that state and in human state, they will have animal-like instincts. Earth-wielder can fly using oxygen expelled by plants; this will not work around buildings of places with few plants.
Air
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]Anyone born with the Air element looks as if the wind could blow them over. They are thin with pale eyes and hair. It is very, very rare to see a dark-skinned air-wielder. Air element powers are what would be considered "psychic." They can read the emotions of others around them as well as peer into the minds of others for a short amount of time. However, too much overwhelming emotion at one time(such as fear or pain) can cause massive headaches that, at too severe a level, can cause psychic bursts of energy. Therefore, it is crucial that air-wielders keep their mind focused and not let it wander to those around them. Air-wielders can fly using the wind; if there is none present, they cannot fly.
Spirit
People with the spirit element are soldiers from the past that used dark magic to transport their souls to the future in search of the four royal children. They have no distinguished appearances, but they're hearts are black as pitch, despite the fact that they do not remember their lives in the past. Their powers are similar to those of the four elements; in fact, they are copies of them. People with the spirit element have stronger versions of the four elements, but they can only be used for short periods of time. They have no problem controlling these powers, but trying to force them beyond their limits will cause blackouts and possibly death.
Civilian
Civilians also have no pre-determined appearances. They come in all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, they also have no powers. It is possible, by the use of ancient magic (AKA mega $$$) for civilians to gain the powers of one element. They cannot, however, gain the powers of the spirit element, as the Book of Dark Magic was destroyed.
