OOC Rules

1. The Golden Rule-

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Be respectful to everyone. No insulting, trolling, bashing, trashing, or anything of the sort. Do not insult someone because of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, football preference, or anything of the sort.

2. Respect Authority-

The staff love you. We want to be your friend. But we(as in, I) will not tolerate disrespect. If we tell you to do something, do it. If we warn you for breaking a rule, do not ignore us and keep on doing it. Disrespect of the staff will result in an immediate ban.

3. Theft-

It will not be tolerated. If you steal something that belongs to someone else, and you know it's not yours, I will track you down. Honestly, it's just pathetic to take something without someone else's permission and claim it as your own.

4. PG-13-

This site is rated PG-13. Therefore, no mature content, which includes but is not limited to pictures, videos, roleplays, or any other type of media, will be allowed. First offense will result in a warning, second in a ban.

5. Images-

A limit of two banners is allowed. I have a slow computer and cannot handle clutter. Also, banners that stretch the board. If this occurs, the offending banner will be taken down. If it is replaced or another stretchy banner is added, you will be banned at the staff's discretion.

IC Rules

1. God-playing-

God-playing is making someone else do something without their permission.
Bad: Sarah ran through the hallways, looking for Marshall. When she found him, she grabbed his arm and dragged him to their next class. "Let go!" Marshall shouted.

Good: Sarah ran through the hallways, looking for Marshall. When she found him, she reached for his arm to drag him to their next class.
---
Marshall let himself be dragged to the next class before saying sarcastically, "Okay, you can let go now."

2. Mary-Sue's/Gary-Stu's-

Mary-Sue's are perfect. They're perfectly friendly, everyone loves them, they never get hurt in a fight, and they're freaking annoying. No Mary-Sue's/Gary-Stu's.

3. Word Limit-

There is a 150 word limit. Honestly, this is not hard to do. Yes, we all get writer's block, but it's not a hard limit to reach, so it's not an excuse.

4. Tense-

All RPing will be done in 3rd person past tense. No exceptions.

5. Activity-

Be active! This is especially important for those with canon characters. An activity check will be held once a month. If you do not reply to it before it is locked, you will be deleted. If you have a canon, they will be put up to claim again.

6. Fights-

Do not let IC fights become OOC fights. If you insist on fighting each other, take it to PM. I'm not interested in the drama.

7. OOC Chat-

Do not flood the RP boards with OOC chat. That's what the general board is for. If you have to say something OOC in an RP thread, use brackets or parentheses.

8. Closed Threads-

Unless specifically stated, all threads are considered open. If you only want specific people in the thread, please put [closed] in the title and specify who you want in the thread in brackets at the start of the thread.

C-Box Rules

1. No Advertising-

This is the number one rule because it annoys me more than anything. Do not advertise on the c-box at all. This is not limited to posting links. Don't say "Come join .......!" You can put a link in your name, but that does not mean you can say, "Click my name and join that site!!!"

2. Keep it clean-

Light cursing is allowed in the c-box, but not * you you stupid * i'm going to *.....etc. etc.

3. No flooding-

Flooding the c-box means 5 or more posts in a row without someone else interrupting. It's annoying. Don't do it.

4. No spamming-

Spamming is posting random or inappropriate stuff for no reason. Don't do it.

5. Display names-

Keep display names clean. No names involving genitalia or something that might be offensive to someone's religion, race, etc.
